Danske Commodities is a new participant in the European gas markets and is active in transportation, storage, and wholesale trading.
The foundation of Danske Commodities’ gas business is its network of international counterparties, profound market knowledge and solid experience in hedging and risk management. Danske Commodities aim to rapidly expand its trading positions and to build a strong presence in the European wholesale market for gas.
Danske Commodities operates on Europe’s gas trading hubs in Holland (TTF), Germany (NCG, GasPool) and Denmark (GTF) as well as at physical border points to the above mentioned markets areas.
The future strategy of the gas trading aim:
- to further strengthened its position as an attractive counterparty for wholesale gas trading through positions of transport capacities, storage capacity and sourcing networks
- to further expand its geographical foot print to neighboring European countries such as Belgium, France and Austria
- to consolidate its best-in-class capabilities for value creation by exploiting market imperfections for cross border trading in Europe
